The other day, I watched an older couple. There was a naturalness to them that went deep. Everything he did, from pulling her chair out to giving her a little squeeze on her thigh as she walked by him, was endearing to me. Everything that she did, from handing him his phone to knowing that one dessert would be plenty for them both, was charming to me. He loved her, and she obviously cherished and loved him. It was the way they didn't need to talk so much, yet the words of appreciation and thanks and genuine authenticity that ran electric through them, which was powerful.

Watching them made me appreciate my man and my relationship with him even more than I already do.

Those Blue Eyes Say So Much.

  He got in my car.  I turned to look at him.  His eyes were a deep shade of blue that I quickly recognized.  Complete satisfaction.  That is what his eyes said.  Two nights before, we'd had amazing car sex.  I watched his taillights for as long as I could when we parted, hitting my pillow fulfilled.  His gaze now pierced through me, and without needing to ask, he knew I felt the same.   They went to Target to look for his pants.  Along the way, she noticed his subtle eyebrow raise at the pink thong on the mannequin they passed.  She stopped to find her size - XS. He helped with an underlying impatient eagerness that only she knew and sensed. During checkout, as the woman put his pants and her pink thong in the bag, she blushed as naughty visions of them later that night crossed her mind. He caught her gaze with his, silently letting her know he was on the same page with the pink thong by slightly shifting himself before they left the store.
